Medical Carbon Dioxide can be applied in various indication areas:
Internal usage: the gas is used in gaseous form as an insufflation gas for minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopy, endoscopy, and arthroscopy to enlarge and stabilize the body cavities. This results in a better view of the surgical field.
External usage: in cryotherapy and cryoneurolysis, liquified gas at -76 degrees Celsius is applied to the skin for pain relief. In addition, the product can be used for carbon dioxide baths as a remedy against low hypertension, vascular diseases, cardiovascular disorders, etc. to generate analgesic effects and increase blood circulation.
